The 7th Annual Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival is here!
- Sunday, September 25th
- 12:00pm to 7:00pm
- Located at the White Street Parking Lot Behind the Dublin House, with entrances on White Street and Monmouth Street
This popular event, inspired by the 62-year-old Galway Oyster Festival that marks the start of oyster season, is sponsored by Guinness and features a wide variety of food from many of Red Bank’s restaurants including:
Expect lots of fresh fried and raw oysters, lobster rolls, mini Ruebens and more! In addition to Guinness, wine and light beers will also be available. It’s a perfect opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of Red Bank while sampling its many great dining options.
There will be a $5.00 admission charge for any guest over the age of ten, and food and drink prices will vary. No pets will be allowed due to Red Bank ordinance.
In addition to a great food and drink selection, the event will feature activities for kids and live music on two stages throughout the event from bands including:
- The 1910 Fruitgum Company
- The Nerds
- Bobby Byrne Band
- The Snakes
- Jobonanno & The Godsuns of Soul
- Taylor Tote Band
- So Watt Band
- Atlantic Watch Pipes And Drums
- Remember Jones
The Oyster Festival after-party starts at 7:00pm at the Dublin House. The forecast is showing nice weather, but a rain date is scheduled for Sunday, October 2nd.
The Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival is presented by the Asbury Park Press and raises funds for The Booker Cancer Center at Riverview Medical Center, the Red Bank River Center and Lunch Break.
